Well conserved FH Dollar?

Is the strike forthis FH variety always on the weak side? Or is it just the way the lighting used in this photograph?

actually, that's a pretty decent strike. you won't see much liberty's hair or eagle's breast detail. too bad the coin's been dipped and no longer has an original look. otherwise, i'd hazard to guess the coin has lots of meat left on its skin!

  • I;ve looked at a lot of these trying to find one that I can afford, and this one looked dipped. Thanks for confirming what I was thinking.

  • He usually offers no return but he likes this one so much he'll refund 90% for a year. My guess reserve is 7K/8K, probably more . so basically he will rent it to you up to a year for $700/$800. Now thats a nice guy.
