A nice thing to say about PCGS

I know a lot of us have legitimate issues to address, but sometimes it's good to point out the nice things. My last two invoices to PCGS have been for 9 coins each. And both times, when they sent them back (just got one back today! yea, my gold toned 1964 jfk was MS-66) they included a PCGS blue box even though it was less than half filled. It's not earth shattering, but when you consider the quarterly free submissions, the free submissions for registry people, and things like this, you have to admit that there are some good things that PCGS does.

And since tomorrow is my birthday, it was a nice thing to get. And both of my economy submissions were completed in about 15 working days.

I think the cutoff is 5 coins in order to get a blue box. However, I got one for one coin once. I think they did that because it was a rather expensive coin.

holy smokes, you mean they actually give those things away? i've been duped cause i bought mine. i guess i need to up my submissions or start asking other members to sell me some. i'm gonna go stand in the corner for a few minutes.

The cutoff is five coins or more they will give you the box as part of the shipping. Similar to Greg, I have received two invoices with single coins in them that had a free box with them. Also similar to Greg, these were expensive coins.

I called,and have to send three separate forms.One for gold,one for a penny,and one for the 55 freebie.They were nice.Can go in one box.

The freebie can be attached to any regular submission invoice. They might say no over the phone, but Rick Montgomery said yes.
