If these two are for real, why don't they just get together off-line and save some fees?

Notice that some of the pics are the exact same as in some of his other auctions. Same serial number on the slab and all.

I needed a PR wheatie (in plastic... they look better that way). I figured no one would screw with a modern coin, so I risked a few bucks on one of this seller's slabs.... as I was looking through his feedback... i well, Laughed when I saw this guy

Obviously the guy found a coin he really likes so it just keeps buying the same piece over and over and over. image
  • This seems legit to me. The guys is winning auctions with $1 bids. I doubt any shilling involved.
    Go METS!!!

I guess NTC must charge what, about 50¢ to slab a coin?

From one of his auctions: Fully brilliant with colors varying from blues, brown, orange yelows and purple. Toning range from 60 to 100%.
  • Too funny..what a waste of feedbacks for only 4 showing up next to his name!!! Too funny

    WANTED: I need these coins

Always looking for PCGS buffs, 1917 SLQs, and pre-1933 GOLD.

    Check my want list above!!!
  • That does seem to imply some kind of mass buying by several ebay customers or possbile shill bidding. I 've seen some of the seller's auctions over the past year but have never bid on them. NTC charges $7 per coin but I am sure they offer volume discounts.

Looks to me like someone is trying to build a cheap inventory.
