i can't speak to the denial and whether or not he sold all he had, but the stuff i saw him listing was well worth boasting about. quite an impressive array of top quality proofs. that would have been a nice collection to have had a first shot at picking through.
am i the only one who sees trouble ahead for paypal if they don't make some changes? they seem like they do what they want with regard to freezing accounts, charging back and stuff like that. nothing has happened to me yet but i've heard a lot of horror stories, enough to make me consider to not use the service. all they offer me as a buyer is the same protection i get with a credit card along with some convenience and a quicker receipt of my purchases.

I was a bit concerned about his being NARU, but I just received a coin I won from him, a heavily frosted 1956 quarter, PCGS PR69DC. No problems, nice coin and he shipped once my check cleared. Just guessing, but since EBay now owns Paypal, perhaps his current troubles stem from that relationship (check his feedback).
Ebay doesn't own PayPal (yet), not sure it will be approved either.
As for the PayPal surcharge, I just won an auction where it was in the description. The seller stated that this was not illegal but may be against ebay rules (but others do it, so he could). If these are considered like a CC charge, then it is against the law (not ebays).
In the case of the Neg though, if you do not allow PP (because of the charge, but will accept if they pay the surcharge, not sure that is illegal even by Ebay's rules).

Russ,
I have already said I have no ill feelings towards they guy, I have never had any reason to. I wish him the best in all his endeavors. Why are you so defensive over this guy?

I went back and read the initial thread between teetelli and WWBillman. How anyone could say that Bill was the "offensive" one is beyond me. Bill was being skeptical and critical (as so many are on this board) but teetelli came back several times in full attack and insult mode and in my humble opinion went way past anything Bill had said as far as being offensive.
Just an opinion from a guy who wouldn't know Bill, Teetelli, or Russ if any one of them walked up to me on the street and handed me an AH Kennedy! (OK, maybe I would assume that person was Russ!)

He came, he boasted and denied, sold all his coins and disappeared just as I predicted.

Nick is till around, and still selling his collection. He is currently doing battle with eBay over a Paypal surcharge issue.

I am past it, just being a smart A$$ having a good time. God knows you have spouted off here plenty of times.
Lighten up. You started all of it in the first place.
