Anyways, I got the pack today, it's my friends pack and he will open it up tomorrow (not at work today)

I wonder what goodies are inside? Could there be a Doleac.....Carr....or big fat Robert Trailor? Who knows.....

Both are in spotless condition. My friend wants to grade the Harrington and it should get a 9 (sells for around $35 on ebay) At least it wasn't a complete loss. Freaking Doleac.....

I think all the good 1998 SPX Finite packs have been used up.

Naw....I think there are still a ton of nice cards in the packs. Remember, this stuff was in 1 pack a box and alot of people just cracked open the box and kept those packs. I remember dealers with 300 of those packs (yea $10 a pop too....d@mn cheap) I still know alot of people that have these packs sealed. I'm sure there are some spectrums in there still.

dang, better than my pack, way better...ill trade you my 2 towel boys for your gatorade guy...lol...im so pissed still......my biggest upset in the hobby in 15 years!

PS--i called UpperDeck and told them there was a poor distribution of rookies in those, like one good and one bad player(although its hard to tell with rookies in 98) and they basically said"We appreciate your comment".....After holding for 10 minutes! ahhhh, total loss.....I have to admit, mine too are psa9-10 condition

Hey the first pack I ever opened of this stuff I got a Vince Carter #2500 and a Bibby #1500. So that's two good players in one pack. The Harrington is alright, just wish I got a star in it....cause the condition of these are amazing.

That's too bad. But then again, Al Harrington has already made claims of becoming a 20-10 guy this year - no joke. So your friend should wait and see what happens there.

Also, do you know anyone has a spreadsheet/pop report of which Spectrums from 1998-99 have been pulled? I never really thought of doing anything like that until this year, 2001-02, though I did not include the jerseys (too confusing).

Yeah Dunumass is right, you should grade and then hang on to the Harrington, he's gonna be good in a year or 2
