Can someone give the pop on 64d Wash, PCGS MS66, By the way awsome neon/rainbow toning on this coin.

    the online population reprot shows 276 coins graded MS-66 and 11 graded MS-67

  • I know that many of the collectors using this forum who have
    collected since the 60's have rolls of this stuff stashed away.
    At the time we were buying rolls of UNC new rolls of halves
    and quarters worth $10 face for $28-$30. Franklins were just a
    few dollars more per roll. Hard to believe. I remember that vividly.
    I have some still with the bank rolled paper wrapping. During
    around 73-75 the dealers were inundated with them at the shows.
    I wonder how many of you have searched these rolls for a 66 or 67.
    I know I haven't. I'll bet among us we have a 67 or two.
