Doubling on 43steel What kind?

Does anyone know if there is any value to this? If you have an extra 30seconds could you look at the indian cent and tell me what this kind of strike is called? Thanks for any help. Rickunum steel pluribus steel indian

  • The 1st one looks like it might be die doubling.
The 2nd one, the blurry one, only makes my eyes water.
I don't see any doubling on the last one the indian head cent.
Could tell if you could get clear pictures.

Agree with lathmach. IHC see something sticking out side of O. Maybe die crack.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Appears to be a real doubled die on the `43.

  • I see nothing of significance on any of them.
  • The steel cent pictures are a little blurry but they do appear to be from a doubled die. Even with the blur there seems to be definite notching on the serifs of the lettering. This would be an interesting coin to see a better picture of.
