Another PCGS slab error?

You be the judge:

The first link is to a 1976 silver Ike; therefore, it's a Type?

Link to 76 silver
Ike

The second link is to a 1976 clad Ike; based on comparison with the previous coin it's a Type?

Link to 76 clad Ike

After a few people have provided opinions I will post what PCGS says.

  • The silver Ike has the type 1 reverse and the clad has the type 2 reverse.

    The long S & straight leg R is T-1; the short S & curved leg R is T-2.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • The first being Silver only came in Type 1. The second is Type 2.

  • I know, The Type 2 is labeled Silver, right? This can happen, I should know, because I own one! What would someone pay for these? I actually own two clad Ikes labeled Silver!

The first, being silver, is a Type 1. The second which is different from the first (the wording is sharper and more elongated compare the "O"), is a typical Type 2. BUT THE SLAB SAYS TYPE 1 and the cert look-up agrees!

    wallstreetman,
Your problem sounds unique, a 1976 Silver Ike with Type shown, is that correct?
