My day at the beach!

Ok, there are no hot babes in bekinis on the shores of the Oregon coast, but there was a coin show in Florence today (about 3 hours from my home). I went just for a few hours and saw some neat stuff, but since it was the last day, a lot of people were already gone by the time I showed up. But I bought a few more 2-cent pieces for my set, including this nice 1866 (see photo link). I think I only need one more to complete my collection now, the 1864 small motto. The gold pickings were slim, but I did find this nice 1910-D, with photos attached. As for fun change, I got a 2002-D Sac from one dealer in change for a purchase. And the coolest thing was the token issued for the show. This is the first show I've been to that had a token, and since it was the 5th year they chose a nickel motif, with the obverse of a buffalo nickel, and the reverse of a shield nickel. Pretty cool.

That '30 has a very pretty and subtle patina on it, Fairlaneman. It looks like you made quite a haul.

The 30P and the 34P are both very nice. Actually I was quite suprised to find them. The same Dealer had a 1873 with Arrows Seated Quarter that had some Great Toning. Tried to swing a Deal but it did not work out. I'm hoping it is still available for the Show in Grants Pass or Medford in September. Some pretty nice stuff was available at what I thought was decent prices.
