1981 TOPPS QUEST

Well heres some info on my quest for the toughest issue in my opinion of the 80's. I'd even say it weighs tougher than alot of the 70's trust me...My last submission consisted of 398 cards the results were 48 ten, and 22 eights, the rest were 9's. Invoice no. 8015082 That was the last of my unopened. I recently purchased another wax, rack and vending.

Hopefully this will put me in the 80% range. The remaining 20% I would bet I'll be pulling out my hair for years. You can view my set under the mm collection I'll be scanning my 10's later this week. If any of you have 81's raw or graded and would like to trade lmk. I have a slew also if anyone would like a straight nmmt-mt set lmk. And I can help you out this journey has left me with 15, 5000 count boxes of stars and commons. You heard it 75 thousand cards and the set is not cancelled.image Yet no ordinary 9 will do. Every card in this set is flare free and no chipping. A very tough task...

Also if anyone is looking to start this set lmk. Very easy to deal with and have a bunch of dup 9's....

    I won't be competing with you on EBAY for these...and driving the prices up. I do have some nice rack packs with stars on front. I have not really thought about selling them. What do they go for?

    Do you have anything other than 1981's to trade?

    I think I've bought maybe 2 cards of ebay for my set. Both of which ended up as weak 9's. Everything in my set is has been submitted by me. In fact most of the cards in the registry have came from me. I buy strictly cases. Yet if someone has some has some dead mint cards I'd be interested yet it's hard to find them. Let alone find someone as cooky as me to collect them.

    Rack boxes usually sell in the range of 65-100. I tried selling a whole box with stars and minors on the top and it didnt reach my reserve so I just cracked them the ending bid was 87.00. Weak

    No extra murphy just the one in my set. One of the tougher cards.
