Saw a neat FB complete graded set on eBay

Complete PSA Football set
While checking eBay I stumbled across this complete graded set. I remember these when they were issued as reminiscent of the 1938 Goudey's. I was going to make a play on it, but figured my 20 registered sets are enough for now, although I like the idea of an entire set already assembled & graded. The seller is solid, I've dealt w/ Vic several times and never a problem...jay

I saw these at the National - cool cards! I believe that is V & J cards in located in PA?

If the auction ends with $599 - that's not a bad price at $30 a card.

Only for folks that like goofy stuff !

I'll pay up to 5 figures for sets of actual cards of photos of real players,
    but those things are nonsense.

Nice that we don't all want to colllect the same thing, or the prices would be astronomical !

    Like they already aren't !

    Jay,

Thanks Jay. Since I don't buy on ebay I would never have seen this. I may bid.

    Anything else to sell me???

  • Wow, those are nifty... It's a shame I have all my money tied up at PSA right now in submissions. image
Or else I may have just started to collect football...

DAVALLILO - I have some stuff on the "fire" with you in mind. Possibly we can hook up at the next Fort Washington show (like we did the last) and make a quick easy transaction. I was going to contact you in early September, and run some stuff by you. So expect some info in about 2 weeks...jay

Jeff - Its worth the trip! The show is Sept 27-29. On Saturday & Sunday they have an autograph guest and the auto is free. Usually its a '70's type all star player, like Luzinski or a G.Nettles type. All the big dealers are there and there is a lot of quality material...jay
