Has anyone heard if you can put a mod chip in a PS2?

I just got a call from a guy wanting me to put a mod chip in a ps2... and he said something about breaking a gameboy or something... and taking a chip out of it... and then putting it in a ps2 to play burned games.
Has anyone heard anything about this??

Yes you can put a mod chip in a ps2 but it has nothing to do with a game boy..... You can get them online just search for it at www.1gaming.com my ps2 is modded and i have back ups if u need any.

Yes, you can chip the PS2...I still have my chipped PS1, man what a great ivestment the mod chip was...rent 4 games at a time from blockbuster, burn and return 'em.
