opinions on the grade of a 1937 buffalo

What's your opinion on the grade? There are some scratches on the slab but the coin appears to be mark free. thanks mike

ms/65 A little weak at the braid, but strongly struck otherwise. The rev. looks better. image

MS64 or 65. There is weakness in the hairbraid at the top and the lower part of the hair. And at shoulder of Buff at top of front leg. PCGS used to grade these no more than 65. But who knows anymore.

I've got one of those "blue" toned Buffs for my 1937. It has the same strike problem as yours...probably even a bit worse.

I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

      • I agree - leaning toward 65, but by virtue of the reverse so 64+.

      • MS64 due the weak strike on obverse and reverse (look at the hair braid and the last 'A' in America)
