Now I Understand the Rock Tumbler Shortage in Denver

My 2002 Mint Sets arrived. Needless to say I'm very disappointed at the poor quality. After reviewing 10 sets (200 coins) I only have 1 solid candidate to submit. Some of the coins look like they were put into a large bag, then shaken well. Others look like they must have dropped 20 feet into bins, then had a dozen other coins land on top of them.

  • I found the same problem with mine - except the Philadelphia ones were the ones that were beat up the worse - the Denver ones have some possibilities. I also got the clad proof sets and every one of my Mississippi quarters has a planchet flaw on the back - like a piece of metal got stuck on the reverse die - anyone else have this problem???
