Need some opinions on my latest buy-09s Lincoln

I just bought this today at my local shop, but when I got home I was concerned about the mintmark and this discoloration around it. I am no Lincoln expert, but can someone look at the scans and let me know if they think the mm was added? I can return it if it's not real, but I want to be sure before I make trouble at my local dealer. THANKS!!!

That's a tough one, but it looks real to me. I think I'd have to see it in person to be sure. I'd be a lot more suspicious if it was a 1909-S VDB, but as this is a less expensive coin, I don't know if he'd go to the trouble to do that.

Looks legit to me. Same as my 09 S. Doesn't seem that the condition would warrant adding the mint mark.
