1975 unopened wax box ...

... only $2,950 at Dave and Adam's image

Towards the bottom in the "News/Updates" section ...

It's the first time I've seen one for sale in a long time. I seem to remember a recent '75 mini unopened discussion, and someone (Mike C.?) mentioned how scarce the regular unopened stuff is. Just thought I'd share with the group - any $3k gamblers out there?

They do indeed seem to be tougher than the mini boxes. I'm 99% sure D&A did not have this at National.
As for opening it, I'd venture to guess I'll get more 9s from the 120 or so cherry-picked raw cards I got at National than I would if I were to open this box. If they were rack packs, I think it might be more interesting image

So full of action, my name should be a verb.
  • It's scarcer but not worth double. The most I've ever seen individual packs go for (without stars showing) is $75. 75 x 36 = $2700. And that's if you paid full retail for every pack! Unless there are packs with stars showing, I would wait for the next one to come along. They're scarcer than the minis but probably not scarcer than, say, 1973 wax.

69topps> Agreed. But in both cases, if you buy it with the intent of opening it to submit then it's almost a certainty you're going to get hurt.

  • Just opened a pristine 1984 Donruss wax box and found only 31 cards that were submittable. It's a gamble.

If I'm buying it's PRICELESS. If I'm selling, it's WORTHLESS.

    Looking for 1984 Donruss -
