To be candid, Supercoin posted a pic of a PCGS MS 66 Franklin that looked worse than that one about a year and a half ago. I don't understand this, because there is no way you are going to see a 19th Century Type coin with that splotchy toning in a 6 holder.

This auction house always has a lot of great stuff. I was going to consign a valuable civil war item to them once, as they tend to have a loyal following and get fair and reasonable prices. They send out real nice catalogs, too. I used to get them. Early American I won't comment on the coin posted. It says it's ICG graded. These pictures can make coins look better/worse than they are.
In the 1983-1986 market I purchased a raw proof 65 seated quarter from EAN. It turned out to be AT and I got my head handed to me after selling it at auction for 20% of what I paid for it. It was my first and last purchase from them. This is one area where slabs have been beneficial.
A lot of times the pictures don't do justice to the coin - I've seen a lot of Franklins that look awful on pics, but when you look at them in person they're not that bad - I'd venture to say that this coin isn't half bad judging from the face.
