Need some help on a 2-cent piece

I have started a circ set, and just got an 1864 for my Dansco album. How can I tell the small motto from the large motto? How would it compare to the rest of the series (i.e. would an 1865 more closely match the large or small motto?).

Thanks!

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

The easiest way (for me) to tell is to look at the word "TRUST" - on the Small Motto, the first "T" almost touches the ribbon crease. Not so on the Large Motto.
I would recomend that you pick up a copy of the "red book" - it contains pictures and information on all sorts of things like this and much more.
