Need your opinions people...which picture or both?

Of the two pictures which do you like better...the first one show the cameo of the obverse, but the second shows the color better, or would you just put both pictures up on ebay, or do you think that would confuse people?

Picture 1

Picture 2

This is the same coin, not two different coins...just different angles. It is in a PCGS PR66 holder and the pictures although pretty, do not even come close to showing the true beauty of the coin...gosh that sounds like those morons on tv.

  • if you're only going to choose one of them, I would say picture 1. But you could just go ahead and put them both up image

I like #1 better, it shows the details. If you put both pictures up and it confuses people I hate it for them because the more pictures I see the better informed I am. Just don't put up one of those automatic slide shows that flashes 50 pictures back & forth.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • i would do pic #1, pic 2 is cool but looks like ol' Tommy is about to transform into the Hulk.

BTW, beautiful coin. Could have told us to pull out the bucket.

I'd put both with an explanation of what the person is looking at. Maybe make the dcam one smaller since that feature is easily seen in a small pic.

I love the first scan. I personally feel that as a seller I want to provide a scan or photo that approximates as close as possible the coins true coloring. Many times I look at my scans, look at the coins and try to tweek the image to get as close as I can.

If I am unable to do so and feel like the scan is too nice relative to reality, I describe it so in my auction description. If later there is a disgruntled party, one need just point out the honest description hightlighting that fact.

One scan with an honest description should suffice.

#1 hands down, no comparison. With number one, I might even buy the coin and I don't like Jefferson's. Number two, I'd wretch.
