I knew my silver SQs would get similar results, so I didn't even send them in. The mint shipped some major crap in these sets. Have another on the way so I'll see if these are any better.

  • Wasn't there someone on the boards who offered an amazing amount if you were able to pull out a 2002 MS69DCAM? Maybe my memorie's just going. . . .

I have 3-2002 Silver Proof Sets that I am going to pick through and submit...as long as I get to the post office tomorrow. I have had some success with previous years and the ones I received actually look good... but again, I'm a shameless newbie! I will post the results as they come. I actually have not seen a PR70 in some time... do they still grade PR70's? :-)

  • Well, THERE's your problem! Nothing dated before 1958!
  • I got my results yesterday, and I am waiting until I see my coins again before I pass judgement. Needless to say the grades were not impressive on 8 of 10.
  • Sorry about the grades. I lucked out when I ordered my set. All of them look to be 69DC.
  • that is some pretty rough luck. does it seem like everything in a submission is either up or down? i would say yours was down a grade across the board. like the same person graded them all and for whatever reason 68 was the top score of the day? i had one submission that i thought was two grades down across the board and the next submission was right on target. sort of like a miss america pageant, you know, in the eyes of the beholder?
