1960 & 1961 Proof Sets Double Die

Does anyone know what coin/coins are doubled in the 1960 & 1961 proof sets? It would also be helpful to know what's doubled.

Thanks in advance

  • The Obverse of the half on 60 or 61. I've got one at home, but I can't remember the date. I belive it's listed in the CPG no. 2.
A 1943 copper Lincoln will still only buy a gumball out of the machine, but you can purchase the machine and the store with that same cent.
  • There are known doubled dies on ALL the 1960 proof coins and on the reverse on the 1961 half.
The 1960 cent PUP is the date of which there are three varieties of overdate/DD.
The nickels PUP is on UNITED.
The dime obverse is the date, reverse UNITED
    The quarter, eagles left wing.
    The half, the date.
1961 half PUP, E PLURIBUS UNUM.
Hope that helps, but you should get a Chreeypickers Guide.
