what kind of camera can you use to take photographs of the coins..??

i would like to purchase a camera.. specifically for taking pictures of coins..does anybody have any idea.. of what kind of specialized camera to use..??

They provide the equivalent of natural lighting. It's not possible to produce shots such as above with regular light bulbs.

Nope. Just an old digital camera that does excellent macro. Nice thing about the "old" part is that, as with all technology, you can buy it dirt cheap compared to new.

I LOVE MY COINS AND HAVE A NACK FOR FINDING THE MOOSES.....BUT I HAVE TO TELL YA I VERY JEALOUS OF ALL YOU SHUTTER BUGS WHO ARE GOOD WITH THE PICS.....I ONLY WISH I COULD DO WHAT YOU DO

Get in touch with Michael Casper. He knows what he's doing when it comes to photographing coins. His best pictures are the best, in my opinion.
