I like the Barbers, but Gosh they're a tad high for my budget.

I left Saints out because I wanted everyday things that moved in and out of cash registers often back then. Things that circulated well.

As an individual coin I like the Walkers but I think it is pretty tough to beat a matched set of seated coins in a date set no matter what the grade. When they all match they are a good looking set.
Buy the coin...but be sure to pay for it.

We are finite beings, limited in all our powers, and, hence, our conclusions are not only relative, but they should ever be held subject to correction. Positive assurance is unattainable. The dogmatist is the only one who claims to possess absolute certainty.

Then you are missing Morgan/Peace dollars. They circulated everyday where I live.

This is a really tough call. All those and quite a few others are really great designs. I chose SLQs but it could easily be any of the others. A cam proof Barber can't be beat, nor a cam seated. A chain cent is just a beautiful page from history etc etc. It's a tough call

I'd have to agree with LanLord. Pretty much all of those are very beautiful designs. Todays circulating coins,IMO, are just very plain and lack beauty, intricacy. and imagination. I say bring back the classic designs.

From among the coins on your list, I voted for the Standing quarter. Gotta love those beautiful coins, especially the "topless" ones. I would put the Walkers, also very beautiful, in second. But I like them all! However, I might have voted for the Saints if they had been on the list.

  • Walkers. I think they're the most beautiful coin design ever.
