Was last year the team's 40th anniversary, or did players where some kind of special patch that said 40 on it? please help.

    Not a vikings fan here, actually the complete opposite, a packers fan, but I know they did wear a patch last year that had #77 on it. if you just happened to have seen a patch it may have been that. But im not sure. Why not go to the espn message board and ask them

    the #77 was for cory s. who died at training camp....but i just looked at my cards and they are wearing a patch for the yr 2000 on all of the 2001 cards.

    I have a patch card of his, it looks like the patch is upside down but has a 4, 0, and a t, which I figured was most likely from some kind of 40th anniversary. I will attach a scan, if anyone has any ideas please LMK.
