Dansco or Whitman albums, is one better than the other?
Is one better or is it personal preference? Or Intercept shield?

Matt

I think the quality of the dansco's is better, but I like the Intercept Shield albums in spite of the inferior glue simply because of the properties of the materials. One helpful suggestion though, lay the page flat that you are pressing a coin into so that the page is well supported and you'll have less trouble with the lamination seperating.

Dansco
There is nothing like the heft of a Dansco 7070 when it is completed.

Personal preference, I'd also include the old LOC albums up there for collecting. I like their compactness/smaller size & approx mintage below the dates.
Dansco has the best quality of the albums currently being produced (however limited), but the LOC albums are best in terms of longevity. Despite the quality, none of the manufacturers past or present offer enough diversity among their selections and even the millimeter pages still limit the collector pursuing their own style of collecting.
