Hello all,
I finally got around to scanning pics for all the Ike $s in my MS set. It isn't the best of sets by a long shot, but it is 2 coins from completion.
To view the set and the pictures, click below.

Your 76-D Ty1 looks like it could grade higher from the photo.
But your 76 Ty1 looks a little unusual....
Supercoin -
I agree it would be nice if more people would add pictures, but I admit it is time-consuming, and now if I upgrade, I have to keep changing the pics.
The 76 Type 1, I sent in hoping for a 65, but it got 64. It actually almost looks like my 71-S Silver in 66! I'm not quite sure why you say it looks funny, other then it looks more like a Silver one then a clad!
I would like to add pics for all my sets later, but I am working on upgrading my Peace $ set quite a bit, and will add a bunch all at once in the future.

IT'S GOT A MINTMARK!!

I was just going to comment that JJ is almost there with his nice set except he doesn't have the harder dates 71P and 72P but he had got a nice 76P (1). THEN I noticed the mint mark. That's pretty weird...don't graders LOOK at the coin anymore?
jom
You have got to be kidding me! I feel so ! Why didn't I notice that! I bought this coin as a 76-P Type 1. It was just labeled by the dealer as "Choice BU", and I thought it looked pretty good for a 76-P Type 1. I think I was so busy checking out marks, and verifying it was a Type 1 that I never noticed the mint mark! I swear, I wasn't just buying the holder, I sent this coin in.
When I sent this coin in, I sent it in as a 76-P Type 1, and I'm sure I used the proper PCGS coin # for it.
I just got home and looked at it.....It is a 76-S!!! I bet Supercoin knew this, right? No wonder it looked Silver. No wonder it looked at least MS65! I have a 76-S Silver in MS64 already! Agh! Oh well, my fault.
Now, the real question is: Does anyone want to buy this "Rare" PCGS error!!!???
The other question: Does anyone have a nice 76-P Type 1 for a good price!

jom, here is the scary thing.. What if someone takes a 76-S graded as an MS67, cracks it out, and submits it as being a 76-P Type 1 and gets it lableled as such? We all know that some sucker on ebay would fall for it, and probably not even return the coin! Hopefully this is a very rare type of incident, even though I'm not so sure now.
BTW: Anyone going to the Anaheim show on Sunday who wants this coin! Braddick, do you collect PCGS errors along with low grades (I would love to find a PO01 Franklin Half for you sometime!)

Luckily the return period had expired so I told him to stuff it.
Maybe we should all post scans of all of our sets.
Can you imagine - Hey, doesn't the back of the PCGS MS65FB 16-P Dime of yours have a "D"?

That deal sounds more then fair. I will have to look around for other interesting coins I have to bring with me.
Just LMK when and where to meet up at the show.
