I couldn't stand it anymore and I just opened my only previously unopened '64 proof set. Regular half, rest of the coins are average, cent has a few small carbon spots . Guess I'll be returning to the mint and asking for a replacement.

There sure are a lot of unopened proof sets still around (for the 60's-64). Did some people just hoard thousands or what??
