    It's a forgery. The real one had 13 sides!image

    Someone just tapped the edge of the coin to create the 12 sides.
    Nothing more than a damaged coin.

    Looks too symmetrical to have been tapped, plus theres no deformation of the lettering on the reverse. It is kinda neat looking though.
