Guys,
Well I'm back from a day full of search a safe of high end commons and stars from the late 50's to the early 60's and what can I say stunning. I've know this gentleman for the last 10 years and I even dated his daughter so after bickering bartering it ended like this. I'll be handling his collection for a fee. The first things to go are the the 58' commons bb and the 72 topps fb.
The 72 football set is stunning it is raw and has sat in a binder since 83 before that it was in it's factory box. It has only been touched twice. All 8-9's allday. The 58's will mostly be 8's alot of the variations in 7's or so. I'm still boggled by his 65 tall boys fb. I can tell you this lots of centered cards and razor corners. A handful of nines are in the set I'd bet on it..
The grossest thing I've ever seen is the 5 rose rookies with a 1 wrote on the card in pen all would grade eight if not for the pen I almost puked. The other thing I cant figure out to do with is the 58-59 topps hockey set from a factory set. Get this his buddy taped all the cards in a photo album when they were kids. So the hull has tape on it yet razor corner high canidate for a 9 with tape Iyiiii I was sick to my stomach...
So thats the buzz I'll be back over their tommorrow. Oh yeah the 64 bb commons razors and clean

Great fun, huh? I've always enjoyed looking through a new find. I bet you're pumped. Please keep me in mind for 1959 and 1963 baseball, especially the low numbers, but I've got a list I'm working on. Thanks. And whatever you do, don't make him mad.
or 66 or 68 topps??
Interested in the 58's....I can send you what I need, most are variation upgrades with a few commons (7).
Regards
Willie
Let me know if there are any 1971 Baseball. I'm interested in any or all. Also interested in any complete 60's sets
Thanks
Paul
Well maybe you better ask Zardoz about daughters for cards deals.
Thats what I tried the first time around. She wasn't worth it and I figured after the whole thing cooled down I would still be a part of the family. So a part of the cards and no daughter even better.
Matt
Let me know about the '64 Baseball.
