I have a been trying to get some coin pics so i dont need to get my coins just to check and see if it has rays or arrows or whatever, but i cant get my camera focused enough to even tell what coin it is. Is it my digital camera, or something else? image

Does your camera do macro? That's necessary for coin shots.

As Russ mentioned you need to determine if your camera has macro capabilities. You might find something in the documentation for the camera referring to focal length. The minimum focal length is the closest you can get to the subject and still get a picture that is in focus.
