  • Not unless you give a urine sample.

I was wondering what long term soaking in acetone would do. I took a Franklin that was AU with alot of lustre, a brand new lincoln, an older dime and older buff nickel. These were soaked for 14 days. I took pictures of the before thinking that a before and after set might be of value.

In the end, I could see no difference in any of the four after 14 days.

My next test is going to be with 4 proofs.

Try it with rubbing alcohol. You get monster toned cents.

If you soak for 14 days in acetone get ready to have lung and liver problems.image
