t-wolves to make an offer sheet to ricky davis, keon close to signing!!

Cleveland - Ricky Davis is a restricted free agent, and it's believed that Minnesota is very close to making Davis an offer of about $35 million over six years. The Wolves want to be sure the Cavs won't match the offer.

Sacramento - The rumored Keon Clark to Sacramento deal is coming to a close. Clark is expected to sign with the Kings this week and the signing may happen as early as today. With Clark joining the fray, and the team signing second-round selection Corsley Edwards, the team will have added two 6'9"+ guys to their roster within a week.

    Ricky Davis taking his 7.9 PPG average in 183 career games to Minnesota might help them just a tad...erm...maybe. image

    I hope the Raptors can somehow keep Keon. At least on Toronto he will be a starter.

    On another note....does my link for Carter's dunk in my sig work properly?....Ah...got to love that jam...

    Vincecarder, yeah, the dunk in your sig works and that's probably one of the greatest dunks of all-time and definitely one of the best I've ever seen. I still remember seeing that and my jaw dropping down to the floor. It was unbelievable. I could watch that dunk over and over just for my enjoyment...

    Yea...I put it up for people to enjoy. Since there are so many Carter haters, I wanted people to remember what this guy can do. He's gonna have a big year this season...the guy sounds really pissed and determined to make alot of guys eat their words.... Yea Barkley..you will be eatting more than that Shaq pack combo.....

    Carter's going to whoop it up this year, however, the t-wolves are not. And I don't enjoy saying that. Garnett can't get them to the finals. He's gonna need more than a Rickey Davis to do anything.

    Ricky Davis is a great player but I think there is more to the T-Wolves than Garnett. There is a problem with a few of the players, Wally Szczerbiak seems to fight with KG alot so if the team is not happy, how are they suppose to win. I'm thinking Davis will say with the Cavs, they would be stupid not to sign him......with Miles and their new draft picks....should be a great team to watch.

    T-Wolves need a healthy PG.. the departure of Billups sure didn't help them.. and Garnett will never be the kinda player who can take his team to the Finals

    Vincecarder, I'm far from being a Carter hater. Yeah, I agree that Kobe is a better all-around player, because Kobe is my fav player, but I actually admire VC. He's an awesome player and I hope he comes back strong this up and coming season so he can constantly entertain me with his dazzling array of moves. image

    I think what the T-Wolves need a Center and also a healthy PG as Taker said. It's already known that Garnett can't take them into the Finals, and as long as their is Kobe and Shaq...then no one out of the West will hardly have a chance. He needs to ATLEAST show that he can get them out of the first round...but hey, you can't really blame HIM for the T-wolves chokism in the playoffs. It takes more than one player and Ricky Davis definitely would help...but he's overrated in my opinion. They'd need a lot more than just him...

    Of COURSE you can blame Garnett for the Twolves not making it to the second round! Are you crazy?! The guys makes $126 million, he's the best player on the team, and supposedly a franchise player. NO, I don't expect him to win a title by himself, but his team can't even make it past the friggin' first round of the playoffs. One playoff series. That's all I ask. It's been done LOTS of times before, one guy gets hot and leads his team on a little playoff run.

    Garnett is a joke, a pretty good player on a pretty average team. And the Wolves didn't get any better by subtracting Chauncey Billups and adding Ricky Davis. You know who Ricky Davis is? Larry Hughes - with less scoring.

    Rumor has talks between Minn and Dallas. Garnett for the whole farm. Everybody but Nowitzki, it sounds like. No Joke, Just Rumor.
