    Stackhouse overrated?! I don't think so! He actually doesn't get the credit that he deserves. Bonzi is a good player, but I don't really see him getting any better than he is and he's DEFINITELY not better than Stackhouse. That would be a gay trade...

    stackhouse is overrated in my view..
    he can't lead his team.. shoots 40% and can't dribble..
    he's a like a big Iverson except that he doesn't lead his team

    btw.. Bonzi didn't have the chance to play like Stackhouse.. Stack is like the only scoring option on that Piston team.. Bonzi has Wallace, Stoudamire, Pippen, Ruben Patterson, ... as well

    Well, I thought about it and it definitely fits me...image And, people don't realize that you can't just CHANGE your title to ANYTHING you want. You have to pm Carol and she decides whether is ok or not for you to use it. Also, you only get 1 or 2 shots at your title and then that's it...you can't change it again...so I'm stuck with Tenacious D as long as I'm on CU...image

    Stackhouse does all he can to help his team win. He averaged 27 PPG year before last, and his PPG average was a lot down this season because he wasn't as greedy with the ball, and his rebounds and assists went up. Yeah, he shoots a low %, but I still think he's underrated. I sure as hell wouldn't trade him for Bonzi Wells!

    d, i dont u can compare the stats when stack plays most of the game and bonzi doesn't play as much as he does. you wouldn't do that trade? man, ur crazy. the blazers rejected the trade as well.

    if i was a team owner or a fan, i wouldn't want you being the gm.

    dumars knows that bonzi is better that's why he offered stackhouse to the blazers. it wasn't portland who offered bonzi for stack........

    Stackhouse became a tream leader this year, shooting less and passing more for the good of the team...Wells has always been a team cancer and a jerlk to fans. detroit doesn't need that headache.

    Well, yeah, you have a point. But, the question is...WHY doesn't he get enough playing time? That's because he's not a starting type player at this point in his career. Maybe later on down the line, maybe, but who knows. Or, was he starting in Portland last year? If he's not getting enough playing time, then it's not his fault...that's the coaches fault and decision.

    Just because I said that I wouldn't make that trade would make me a bad gm? I don't think so. No one thinks alike, and everyone has their own opinions of what they would do. That's part of the business. And, I just wouldn't that trade. That wouldn't make me a bad gm. That would be just my way of working things...just like anyone else.

    That doesn't necessarily thinks he's BETTER. Look at all the great players who have been traded to different teams. Did the GM think they were getting a better player when they traded the star? Maybe so...but I can bet you that it had something more to do with them being better or not. That would be an unfair statement...

    well is already a better ball handler than stackhouse, a better shooter (no question), etc..

    are NBA studs. Good, sure some are. Not better than Stackhouse. Stack did have a crappy playoff. But %40
    shooting doesn't mean he's terrible. You have to see some of the situations where he's forced to shoot. I watched about every Piston game last year and it's not always his fault. He's not an NBA elite player, but Bonzi sure isn't either

    Gee, If Wells couldn't get playing time among that long list of NBA greats, I'm sure he'll be a stud in Detroit. He might not even beat out Jon Barry for minutes LMAO

    LOL dirtmonkey, we both immediately noticed what a self-deating argument that was..."sure Wells couldn't get playing time, but he was stuck behind Damon Stoudamire! And Scottie Pippen (the old, broken down, kind of embarrasing to watch version)! And Rick Brunson! How do you expect anyone to get playing time on that all star lineup LMAO!

    Not to mention old washed up Shawn Kemp. That fu^ker needs to lose some weight...and even that wouldn't help. He'd still suck. He can barely even jump anymore...Pippen is washed up and needs to retire as well as Kemp...give it up and let the young one's do some stuff! Like Bonzi...although he's still not better than Stack...no question. Dumars would be an idiot to make that trade...he's actually an idiot for even OFFERING that trade...

    Here's why none of it matters, of course: they could add Isiah in his prime and still have no chance at a title. Think about it.....is there a team in the East who you'd take over the Lakers in a seven game series? No way. Over the Kings? Nope. The Spurs? Nope. The Mavericks? Nope.

    So unless Minnesota or Utah makes some miracle finals run, involving Shaq, Duncan, Nowitzki and Bibby all vanishing, it's all irrevelent in the end.
