I barely trust people with 2,000 feedback with no pictures!
Not because I think they don't have the coins but because if the following:
1. A very good scanner or camera is $200 or so. 2. Look at the prices realized throughout eBay and it's obvious that a picture laden sale will go for more. Probably 5% on average from the ones I've watched. 3. Take a look at a couple of your MS64's or any grade for that matter for the exact same coin. You and everyone will see that they don't look like twins but more like cousins. Sure the detail is fairly similar but the color and EYE APPEAL can be totally different and we all know the price difference between a Rainbow Morgan and a normal one.
I generally think that anyone without pictures is trying to send out a spotted coin without someone noticing.
Referring to his second auction, I don't know if I could drop almost $2k on a buff comm even in ms70. I have one proof and 2 uncs and while they are nice coins, I doubt that I would ever appreciate them that much. But I am still a sucker for cam/dcam Franks. I suppose if I had 90k to toss around, I would consider it. But here's my dilema:
a house or coins a house or coins a house or coins
I have to say it three times because there is still doubt
WOW - two grand for a buffalo??? - I have a pair MS69/PR69 I guess I'll wait till they go up to a grand and dump them. In the mean time, here's my beef with this collection, unless you have gazillions of dollars lying around, which I guess some people do, what is the fun in getting a collection like that? I'd much rather build from scratch, go to shows, learn about coins, see all sorts of different coins, talk with collectors, geez - think you can get all that for a mere $90K? I'll build a couple of hundred bucks at a time.
