A roll of Sacs

Back in 2000 when the first Sacs came out, I went to the bank and got a rollof 2000P for face value. They are in the original mint roll.I have noticed the end coins are toning. I read somewhere that the coating on these were experimental. Is this the case or is it that someone touched these coins and made them change.
Should I save this roll, or open it up to look for some goodies? Your opinions please.

    The two on the end are probally worth a little less. But I think you can still get face value for the other 23. image
