homerun paces this season

What are the homerun paces this season? It seems to me that maybe 2 ppl will get over 50 and may not even have 55

Anyone care to comment?

    the only people at the moment that are projected for over 50 are:

    Arod - 52
    Sosa - 54

    thats IT!

    i think that it has been a slow year...with contract disputes, contraction talks, strike talks...i dunno, i dont think some of the players have found their gr00ve quite yet.

    If they don't strike, Sosa will probably hit 55+

  • Damn! As if 50 hrs isn't alot!! I could care less how many players have hit 50 (or 60 or even 70) the past few years. 50 hrs IS VERY impressive for anyone!!

    Hitting 50+ homeruns to some of these guys is a bad season. That's sad. I wish when players hit 40 homeruns, you could call and extremely amazing season. But, hitting 40 homeruns these days is like striking out 8 batters going against Randy Johnson. Your GOING to be over-shadowed. Same difference with homeruns.
