You didn't miss much. Not a ton of variety. Not a ton of booths. Good water though!
It was interesting none-the-less. I didn't see anything that fit into my sets so I didn't buy anything.
What was surprising, or maybe not, was that 95% of the slabs were NON-PCGS. Is this the actual phyisical ratio in real life? I doubt it. I was thinking that they might have done it because then they can try to make a quick sale of an MS70 that would only be an MS65-PCGS.
However, there was one guy with 99% PCGS. His only other was a set of 5 PCI Buffalo commem. Natrually two of those were PR70
It was almost the reverse situation at the NY ANA convention. About 80-90 percent of the slabs were either PCGS or NGC, the remainder were PCI and ICG. None were from that other company.

It's not uncommon at the smaller shows to see mostly non-PCGS slabbed coins, lots of ANACS, PCI etc. Two reasons for this I think, after listening to dealers complain about the poor customer service they receive at PCGS (they were astounded when I told them PCGS had an 80,000 slab month) and many of them have been using ANACS for years, so their clients are more used to them. Also it's cheaper to use PCI & ANACS for them.
lol...that jerk with all the PCGS coins was me, and guess what, I took those PCI coins in trade at that show. Oh by the way, I also have five NGC coins, but sold one at the show...two of them were toned (sold one of the toned) and the other are better proof cameo coins.
