New coin book out!

This one's called 'The New York Times, Guide to Coin Collecting' by Ed Reiter I bought for $12.95 (soft cover) at Barnes & Noble but I'm sure Borders Books carries it also. Great book in my opinion for the novice and stiil a good read for the 'more experienced collector' as well, Good chapter on errors and varieties and grading as well.

    What's the copyright date on that book (just interested to know if it's fairly up to date)?

    2002 and a 1st edition as well as I like 1st editions.

    I bought the book at the ANA show and I got it signed by the author himself, Ed Reiter. I haven't had a chance to read it yet. nucklehead- have you read it? If so, how was it?
