NGC price guide

I was wondering what you guys use as a guide for pricing NGC coins. Generally I'll use the PCGS price guide for MS coins, but NGC is much looser on cameo designations.

For example i just picked up an NGC 1951 PR67CAM Jefferson for $100 when the PCGS price guide lists $575 for the coin. Do you use a fraction of the PCGS price for NGC cameos or is there another guide?

Those sheets don't show prices for cameos. They are good for most coins, but not all. Caemo, DCAM, PL, FBL, and a few others coins are not priced.

For NGC coins I look at past sales on Teletrade over the past year. Sometimes I'll use the PCGS price guide and value the coin a grade under what the holder says. Coins like that are really shoot from the hip but I think you got a great deal on that one. Wanna flip it for $125? image
