Depends on what it is. GU'ed... 1/2 book. Inserts 1/3 of book. rookies vary depend on who it is.

It's more like Auto said. I usually offer 50% of book, maybe a little more. If I'm trading it's book
value for book value. But most of it just depends on what the card is. I've paid over book for a
card because it was a card I needed to complete a set. It was only a common, and it was from a
1995 set, so I sure wasn't going to find it easy. So the first chance I had, I bought it. I think most
people will agree, it just depends on what the card is if you really need it. A card is only worth
what someone will pay you for it, even though some book tell you otherwise.

Thats right...if I buy a card for $25, then it books for only $40, I'm not just going to sell it for $20 on principal....I can't lose money on a deal.

When I buy, I usually won't go over 25-30% except for a super nice patch. When I sell, I start at 40-45% of book and the guy can usually work me down a bit.
