Break out the bubbly....'70 Kellogg's in SMR

As widespread as this set has become, it is nice to see it get its just due with an appearance in the September SMR....pricing is fairly accurate for the cards that are listed....

Overall it's not too bad, but there are some things wrong (ie Clemente PSA 9 for $55). The card consistently sells for over $100. There are other examples too, but I can't be too critical during this joyous time image.

Compared with the accuracy of other sets' pricing, it's very acceptable as a rough guide.
  • I think that the pricing is a bit on the low side........but it's a healthy start!

  • I agree with Gemint and Zardoz Great to see the pricing in the SMR but the Clemente in PSA 9 consistently goes for $100-$125 ... Did PSa consult any of the Kellogg's collecters for this pricing? JUst curious....

Not that he listens to me that much -- but every few months I will provide Joe Orlando with ebay links, and other evidence of 1955 Bowman pricing trends so that he can think about adjusting SMR prices accordingly. The cards that are by the most "off" in terms of SMR are the PSA 9 examples -- and since Joe is very hesitant to listen to me there, it gets harder and harder, as over 60% of the PSA 9's ever graded are in two or three set collectors hands.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
