Here's just a portion of the Binion Collection at the Edgewater Casino in Laughlin. I have no idea why they would have this there. It's a Vegas thing. But it was pretty cool. Exactly 100 Binion Morgan & Peace Dollars in all Grades. I just happened to have my loupe with me and got to check 'em out. BU to MS-64....NOT. Pretty much over graded. image

It was fun though.

Oh yeah. First thing I spotted when we walked into the casino. I just left Marg to go check them out. Good thing she's understanding. A whole wall of silver dollars. They were selling raw Morgans and Peace dollars in the gift shop. Found a nice UNC 1921 Morgan for $20. First time I've seen them selling anything like that before so I had to bite. Good thing Marg is understanding.

NGC. They had to of been extra to overgrade or just did it all "production line" style. Being I've been to Binion's Horseshoe Casino, I just had to have one.............or two. Downtown Vegas has a flavor all it's own. Ever been there?

If you're referring to the photo, that wasn't taken at the Horseshoe. That's the Binion Collection at the Edgewater Casino in Laughlin. Seemed odd that they would have something like that, promoting Vegas, in Laughlin. They also had a 10'x10' display of uncut 2 dollar bills.

    Ever been to Laughlin?? Anyone??
