Might as well show the only coin I dared to clean(experiment)

I cleaned a 1914-d VF Barber Dime about 3 weeks ago. Obviously I wont do this with an expensive coin, but non the less, an experiment.
1914-D Barber Dime cleaned-blowup
-I cleaned it with "mothers aluminum & metal cleaner" and cleaned off the cleaner with 91% alcohol, then dipped it in water, to bring the ph back, and dried.
The coin looked flat & a dull grey before. Now it looks like that.
Granted, I would be stupid to clean an expensive coin, but as I have said, this is an experiment.
How long do yall think before I will notice a change in the coin?

Hopefully soon
Were all those scratches there before and the cleaning just made them so noticeable or did you rub it dry or...? It really looks unattractive to me. It also looks kind of hazy or uneven or something but that could be the holder maybe.

I have even did the worst thing you could do to it:
I took a sewing needle and cleaned out the really cruddy parts, so up close, under magification, you can tell it has scratch marks(although I think I did a good job hehe)
I just did it as an experiment, it's kinda like shining up that old lamp, because whos gonna see the scratches or imperfections, unless they whip out a magifying glass?!

Look Ive helped someone already
Come to think of it, I have seen a few raw barbers that looked like this...
I wonder if a cleaned barber, when scanned, always looks green?
I don't know, but I will say this, this one was cleaned.
