Instead of typing "NGC" for a search under 'coins', type "NCG". You'de be surprised how many dufuses mistype NGC and many of the coins then go for cheap.

And if you really want to have fun, try typing in "AGC" instead of "ACG"!!! Or do people really search for ACG coins anyway? image

    Hey Braddick,

One of my favorite searches is complete. You would be amazed how many raw sets turn up. I also like unopened and box in description and title. Lastly, I like ending soon searches for PCGS at about 10 AM during the week.

I have done this with certain player's names for their baseball cards.

You wouldn't beleive how many people spell "Cal Ripken" as "Cal Ripkin".

I run the NCG search fairly regularly although I do it as NCG -NGC. I'm trying to find NCG slabbed coins and I don't want all those blasted NGC slabs getting in the way. Then all I have to do is wade through all the the misspelled NGC auctions. NCG used two different slab varieties and so far I don't have either one of them. As far as I can tell they issued fewer than 100 of the first variety slab and less than a thousand of the second before the company folded.

Whoops. I was only having fun- didn't mean to do so at anyone's expense. By the way your first post is also correct! That is exactly how I landed on this mini gold mine!

There are currently two NCG slabs on ebay found by that search and these are the first two I have seen in some time. (About 6 months) I've been watching them and trying to decide whether to go ahead and buy one of them.
