Cyphering scans..missed this one by a mile!

I'm usually pretty good at cyphering bad scans on eBay.
Seller had a pict on eBay, looked like this:

Bad pict so I snagged it and did a quick fix; figured it looked like this:

When I got it it looked like this:

The toning is really a non-issue. I bought it because of this; a crack all the way through the planchet.

Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Neat planchet crack. Can you "curate" my coins for me like photo #2? image

Probably used one of the old scanners that would put a reddish or greenish hue to most silver coins, I used to have one like that about 4-5 years ago.

Strange how the crack on pics 1 and 2 show through the rim to the edge er vice aversea.Anyway ,your pic
doesnt show the crack as `complete` like the prior two.
Same coin I know but,its odd, that 3rd one of yours.
Also it (your pic) looks like a grayed-out over-dipped quarter with that tell tale yellowing from the dipping.
    Neat planchet error though.
Did ya see my 1926 S $1 struck on defective planchet?

The first 2 picts were from a cam and my was a scan. My scanner doesn't pick up depth or get the 3-d effect but rather a 1-dimension focus. The tone is the usual blackish-brown mint set. Strike is so-so. The luster is ok but needs a dip to be seen through the crap tone. I give it a 64. No I didn't see your error $ where's it at?

The coin is neat, top it off with great eye appeal. Funny how sellers don't exploit how the coin looks more when selling.

Yeah that's really cool on that Peace there Cam. It's great to find that much slag in a planchet. It's full of it. Cool!! image

Hey Dog that is a cool crack I have a 1922 peace with a crack that is almost exactly like that and almost in the same place,

Cam I really like the peace you have also, I have a 1922 peace that has a peice of ferrous metal minted into the coin that you can see in the coin on the reverse,

What is so cool is I found them both in the same coin shop. image
