A dealer unclear on the concept

I believe that the text of the auction explains my comments:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1370245160
(sorry, it's my first post and I don't know how to do links)

Do you think someone should contact him and explain that the coin has already been cleaned (it couldn't be that
worn and red!)?

14 Hrs to go. Everyone knows what a fabulous coin it is as they are all waiting till the last minute to bid.image

Ebay has thousands of sellers whose wee brains are not operating on all cylinders. Why waste your breath bugging them, just avoid them like the plague.

No. Save your efforts for the real fraud.

    Welcome to the boards!

    Here's the link.

Actaully doesn't look very red from the fuzzy photo, it could be ok. Not $5.00 ok, but ok. image

Looks like just a naive antique seller, I wouldn't worry about it.

  • I don't think this is a case of fraud. I think the seller just knows very little about coins, especially IHCs.

It is a case of crooked or stupid.image
