I saw an ad in the local paper for an auction and they listed a coin collection, morgans, peace, half dimes
and large cents. Grabbed the wife and off we went. Found the coins in a dark corner, no direct light and asked
to examine them. The woman behind the counter enthused about the quality as she pulled them out. When
I opened the display I could hear the sobs of pain from the coins. Everyone had been polished with comet and
a toothbrush
. Morgans were almost basal and the half dimes were covered with hairlines I could see
even without good light. At that point we decided it was time to go and ran away to see a movie. I should
have bought the coins to euthanise them.
