Well, atleast the Hawks are improving...acquiring Glenn Robinson...

He'll definitely be a big help to the Hawks on the offensive side of things but he definitely needs to improve his defense.

Jason Terry
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Theo Ratliff
Glenn Robinson
DerMarr Johnson

Then, Chris Crawford will be back healthy and with the addition of Dan Dickau...this Hawks team looks to possibly make the playoffs this season. They've already pledged that they'll make the playoffs this season...and it doesn't look bad.

  • o.k my opinion image ..i think they definetly need a healthy ratliff for them to be a serious playoff contender. he's their best interior defensive player and best rebounder.. i know he was injured last year but whats his status now derrick ?

Hehe, I should have known YOU would come through with a good opinion. image

    He's almost 100% from what I've heard. He'll definitely be a key man...image

  • Starting line up:
    PG Dikau
    SG Terry
    SF Robinson
    PF Rahim
    C Ratliff

That is what I think the lineup will be... but I will be cheering for the Hawks, because I like Terry, Ratliff and Rahim

Lakers, of course! That was one wacky question there...image I've always been a Lakers fan since I can remember and it won't change now! My old man is a Raiders fan and has ALWAYS been a Raiders fan since he can remember...from WAY back when they first existed...lol...and he's a Georgian like me...so you know, it doesn't matter where you live...you just have to have that pride! GO LAKERS!

Yeah, I can't wait either. And, the scary thing about it is that the Lakers are going to be an IMPROVED team! image That's very scary. Look at Kobe...he'll be even more improved (VERY SCARY)...I can hear the haunted house music as I speak...image Shaq will be Shaq. Rush should make a nice presence if he gets enough playing time. I expect a 4 peat! image

  • Good trade for Atlanta.....but is Robinson a problem in the locker room? I think he's a great player and if he fits into the Hawks line up (get's along with everyone and plays D) I think the Hawks can make the playoffs with ease.

  • I think it was a great trade for both teams. The Hawks could really use his scoring presence while the Bucks really don't need him. We have plenty of scorers. If TT, Ray, Sam, Ervin, Ham, etc etc can't make up together a total of 22 points I think something is majorly wrong. Not tom ention Glenn was horrible at handling the ball, especially dribbling (I remember last year I went to the playoff games and I along with everyone else was screaming with him everytime he dribbled to pass it (of course he turned it over so many times)). He is an average defender and rebounder, nothing special. the Bucks hopefully will get a lottery pick out of this, but it will be tough. With a lineup like that I'd say the Hawks got a pretty good chacne, especially in the east, of making it to the playoffs. Plus I heard the Bucks cleared up 17 million in cap space (not sure if thats this year or next year, i imagine next year) and they get under the luxury tax. And who knows, maybe this trade can help us get a center. We got a 1st round pick for Scott Williams and now one for Glenn, we could use that in a package with one of our players to get a decent center. Who knows. Great trade for both teams.
