Just picked up a set of 1970 Kellogg's today. Any tips on grading -- what to look for, avoid, etc. Thanks.

Thanks for the great write up. I recently was contacted by another board member who I have traded the set to. The offer was to great to pass up, so if the set does grade any 10s, I will be unable sell those to you.
I had no idea that Kellogg's were this hot.

<< <i>Hey that's not fair! I give you top secret Kellogg's information, and I come away with nothing? I won't forget this. >>
So, are you going to start collecting 1965's to get revenge.

<< <i>Exactly. It's a mistake to upset Gemmint like that >>
If you start driving the prices of PSA 6 and 7 1965 Topps up on ebay, I will be very upset and your revenge will be complete.

Populations to support a number of PSA 9 sets is one of the key factors in people being attracted to the set to collect it. 1964 Topps Giants is another example of this.
1915 Cracker Jack (in PSA 8) is a perfect example -- especially when compared to 1914 Cracker Jack.
There is a certain critical mass which I define as PSA 8 and higher for pre-1960 cards and PSA 9 and higher for some post-1960 sets that are necessary to have a large collecting public follow the set.
