New Member seeking Kellogs information

I am new to the forums and was delighted to read some information on kelloggs cards. I collected them when I was young and intend to put together sets in PSA 9. I have been buying a few on e-bay. My question is. Why are there so few 1971 Kellogg Football cards available? Only 67 graded? I know they are rare but there's like 10 times more 1971 baseball graded on PSA than there is football.
Was there a lot more baseball printed than football? Also, who else is collecting these cards? I see a few 70 Kellogg collectors on the forums. Are there any 71 collectors?

  • Grubb, I'm not sure why there are so few '71 Kellogg's football graded. It may not have a big following yet or it could be very scarce like the '71 Kellogg's baseball. There's a couple of '71 collectors here, but most of us are '70 freaks.

BTW I like your icon. It's like the 3-D cards themselves! image

    Grubb,

You may want to shoot those questions to John McLane from the Football Registry. He's currently #1 on 1970 and 1971 Kellogg's Football. In past threads - he's been very knowledgeable and helpful of not only Kelloggs but Topps Football as well. I'm sure he would welcome someone else sharing one of his passions.

He can be contacted at topps_1972@yahoo.com

    Hope this helps!
